WestCo proudly endorses Patrick Timmons in the upcoming Democratic primary for Manhattan DA.
We believe Patrick Timmons will:
- Will focus on crimes that affect NYers QOL such as street crime, subway crime, and recidivists
- Promises to improve procedural requirements that harm the ability of the DA’s office to prosecute cases in a timely manner
- Those who have paid their debts to society deserve a fair break- and will work to identify those individuals and expunge their previous convictions.
In contrast, Alvin Bragg’s record as current Manhattan DA has weakened enforcement of key quality-of-life crimes, allowing a small group of repeat offenders to commit hundreds of offenses without meaningful consequences. His policies, backed by radical political donors, have contributed to a revolving door of crime and reduced safety for all New Yorkers.
Our endorsement is based on a clear vision: a safer, more just Manhattan where public safety and civil rights go hand in hand.
